Y lo mejor: es completamente gratuito y funciona directamente en tu navegador tanto para computadoras como para celulares. Se puede utilizar tanto en Android como en dispositivos iOS.
Se puede utilizar Photopea para modificar el tamaño de las fotos, así como también puede utilizarse para el diseño de sitios web, creación de ilustraciones, mejorar la calidad de las fotos, etc.
Photopea se lanzó en el 2013, y tiene una interfaz bastante parecida a la de photoshop.

Photopea es una herramienta de edición de imágenes y fotografías que te permite trabajar con imágenes de tipo rasterizado y vectorial. Su interfaz y herramientas pueden resultar muy similares a las de Photoshop, lo que la convierte en una alternativa viable para quienes ya tienen experiencia en este tipo de software. Aunque es importante destacar que Photopea no cuenta con todas las características que posee Photoshop, pero aun así, es capaz de ofrecer resultados de calidad. Con esta herramienta, es posible realizar tareas sencillas como ajustar el tamaño de una imagen, o tareas más complejas como la creación de ilustraciones, diseño de sitios web o procesamiento de fotos.
¿Cuanto cuesta usar Photopea?

Photopea ofrece todas sus funciones de manera gratuita, aunque también cuenta con una versión de pago. Aunque las diferencias entre ambas versiones son mínimas. La versión gratuita te permite retroceder hasta 30 pasos con la acción de deshacer (frente a 60 en la versión Premium) y muestra anuncios en un lado de la pantalla, que normalmente no interrumpen la edición. Sin embargo, si prefieres no ver publicidad, puedes optar por la versión Premium, que comienza en 9 USD al mes para un solo usuario, o suscribirte a un plan para equipos a partir de 15 USD mensuales.

En la barra de herramientas de Photopea, el panel izquierdo muestra todas las herramientas disponibles.
Al hacer clic en una herramienta, se activa automáticamente (sólo se puede utilizar una herramienta a la vez).
En caso de que haya una flecha en la esquina del botón, al hacer clic sostenido se desplegarán las opciones de la herramienta.
Además, cada nuevo proyecto creado en Photopea se genera en formato PSD y está compuesto por capas.
Cada capa contiene una parte de la imagen, lo que permite editarlas fácilmente de manera individual.
El panel de capas se encuentra ubicado en la parte derecha de la pantalla y permite reordenar, bloquear la edición, cambiar los estilos y crear carpetas y subcarpetas para organizarlas.
Las capas ubicadas en la parte superior son las que se encuentran en primer plano de tu diseño, mientras que la última capa se encuentra en el fondo de la imagen.
Máscaras: Las máscaras son una herramienta muy útil en Photopea, ya que permiten ocultar partes de una capa sin borrar los píxeles originales. Además, se pueden activar y desactivar según sea necesario. Cada capa puede tener una máscara vectorial o rasterizada aplicada, y también es posible agregar una misma máscara a varias capas dentro de una misma carpeta.
Objetos inteligentes: Photopea cuenta con la herramienta de objetos inteligentes, la cual es muy útil si deseas agregar un elemento a tu diseño y duplicarlo varias veces. Al vincular todas las copias a una fuente única, cualquier cambio realizado en la fuente original se reflejará automáticamente en cada objeto inteligente, sin necesidad de modificar cada copia de manera individual. Para convertir una capa en objeto inteligente, simplemente haz clic derecho sobre ella y selecciona la opción correspondiente.

Nuevo proyecto: Si deseas comenzar un nuevo proyecto en Photopea, puedes hacerlo fácilmente haciendo clic en Archivo > Nuevo. En la ventana que se abrirá, tendrás la opción de elegir un nombre para tu proyecto, así como también la resolución y el fondo que desees utilizar. Si necesitas crear diseños específicos para redes sociales o para imprimir, Photopea también ofrece plantillas y sugerencias para ayudarte a lograr los resultados deseados. Una vez que hayas hecho todas tus elecciones, simplemente pulsa el botón de «Crear» para comenzar a trabajar en tu nuevo proyecto.
Importar imagen: para trabajar con una imagen guardada en tu computadora, debes clickear en Archivo > Abrir. En este caso, vamos a elegir una foto del ordenador que editaremos usando algunas herramientas y opciones que tiene Photopea.
– Corte mágico: esta opción es muy buena para eliminar el fondo de una foto. Para abrirla, hacé click en Seleccionar > Corte mágico.
Si el fondo de la imagen no es uniforme, como en este ejemplo, es posible que debas usar la herramienta de Selección de color para marcar las áreas que deseas conservar en verde, y las áreas que deseas eliminar en rojo. También puedes utilizar la herramienta de Borrador para eliminar cualquier selección incorrecta. Además, puedes acercar la imagen y ajustar el tamaño del marcador para mayor precisión. En la parte derecha de la pantalla, podrás ver el resultado preliminar. Una vez que hayas terminado, haz clic en OK. Ahora, selecciona la capa sin fondo y asegúrate de que la imagen esté seleccionada. Copia la imagen presionando Ctrl + C (Cmd + C).
Si deseas cambiar el color de fondo de la imagen, lo primero que debes hacer es crear un nuevo proyecto con un lienzo en blanco (Archivo > Nuevo > Crear). A continuación, agrega una nueva capa haciendo clic en el icono con forma de post-it en la esquina inferior derecha. Selecciona la capa y pega la imagen sin fondo utilizando Ctrl + V (Cmd + V). En la parte superior de la pantalla, elige los colores que deseas utilizar para el degradado, ya sea de las opciones predeterminadas o los tonos que prefieras, y haz clic en OK. Luego, aplica el efecto haciendo clic y manteniendo presionado el botón del ratón mientras arrastras en la dirección deseada. Enseguida, los colores se aplicarán instantáneamente.

In this video you’ll learn how to use the Spot Healing Brush tool in Photopea to edit out unwanted objects from your photos.
The key steps on how to use the Spot Healing Brush tool in Photopea:
Open the photo you want to edit in Photopea.
Select the Spot Healing Brush tool from the toolbox.
Adjust the size and hardness of the brush according to your needs. A smaller brush size is better for more intricate details. A lower hardness will result in a softer, more blended effect.
Click and drag the brush over the unwanted object you want to remove. The tool will sample the surrounding area and use that information to fill in the spot where the object was.
Sue Farrimond recommends making the brush size small and the hardness low for a more natural-looking edit.
Tutorial N°3: Clone Tool
The Clone Stamp Tool in Photopea allows you to copy one part of an image and apply it to another area. It’s useful for removing unwanted objects, fixing imperfections, or duplicating elements.

Step-by-step guide to use the Clone Tool in Photopea:
Open Photopea and Select the Clone Stamp Tool:
First, open your project in Photopea.
On the left side, in the toolbar, look for the Clone Stamp Tool . It looks like a stamp icon. Click on it to activate.
Set the Brush Size and Hardness:
At the top of the screen, you will see options to adjust the brush size and hardness.
Brush size : This controls how big the tool is. You can make it smaller for detailed work or larger for bigger areas.
Hardness : This controls how sharp or soft the edges are. A lower hardness will create smoother edges, while a higher hardness will make the edges sharp.
Choose a Source Area to Clone:
Hold down the Alt key (on Windows) or Option key (on Mac).
While holding the key, click on the part of the image you want to copy (the source area ). This tells the tool where to copy from.
Apply the Clone:
Now, release the Alt/Option key and move your cursor to the area where you want to paste the copied content.
Click and drag your mouse to start painting the cloned area onto the new location.
Adjust Opacity and Flow:
In the top toolbar, you can also adjust the opacity (how transparent the clone will be) and flow (how fast the color is applied).
Use lower opacity if you want to blend the cloned part gradually.
Aligned vs. Non-Aligned:
You will see a checkbox for «Aligned» in the top options. If Aligned is checked, the tool will copy from the source relative to where you started, even if you move your cursor around. If it’s unchecked , the tool will keep copying from the exact spot you first clicked.
Undo Mistakes:
If you make a mistake, don’t worry! You can press Ctrl + Z (Windows) or Cmd + Z (Mac) to undo the last action.
Tips:
Use a soft brush (lower hardness) when blending the cloned area into the background for a more natural look.
Continuously reset the source area (hold Alt/Option and click a new spot) to get better results when cloning different parts of an image.

Tutorial N°4: Text Tool
Step-by-step guide to use the Text Tool in Photopea:
Select the Text Tool:
Locate the Text Tool icon (it looks like a capital «T») in the toolbar on the left side of the screen.
Click on it to activate the Text Tool.
Create a Text Layer:
There are two ways to create a text layer:
Point Text: Click once on the canvas where you want the text to begin. This creates a text layer that expands as you type.
Paragraph Text: Click and drag on the canvas to create a rectangular text box. The text will be confined within this box.
Start Typing:
Once the text layer is created, you can start typing your text.
The text will appear on the canvas in the selected font, size, and color.
Format the Text:
Select the Text: Highlight the text you want to format.
Change Font, Size, Color, etc.: Use the options in the top toolbar to:
Change the font family
Adjust the font size
Change the text color
Apply bold, italic, or underline formatting
Adjust the alignment (left, center, right)

Move and Transform the Text:
Select the Text Layer: Make sure the text layer is selected in the Layers panel.
Move: Use the Move Tool (the arrow icon) to drag the text around the canvas.
Transform: Use the Transform controls (Ctrl+T or Cmd+T) to resize, rotate, or skew the text.
Additional Tips:
Create Text on a Path: Select a path or shape layer first, then use the Text Tool to click on its contour. The text will flow along the path.
Use Custom Fonts: Photopea supports custom fonts. You can open TTF or OTF font files just like you would open any other image file.
Remember:
Each piece of text you create will be on its own layer, making it easy to edit and move them independently.
You can access more advanced text settings by going to the «Type» menu at the top of the screen.

The Gradient Tool in Photopea allows you to create smooth transitions between multiple colors, known as gradients. These gradients can be applied to various elements in your design, such as backgrounds, shapes, or even text.
How to Use the Gradient Tool in Photopea
Select the Gradient Tool:
Locate the Gradient Tool icon in the toolbar on the left side of the screen. It looks like a rectangle with a gradient fill.
Click on it to activate the Gradient Tool.
Choose a Gradient Preset:
Once the tool is active, you’ll see the Gradient Editor at the top of the screen.
Here, you can choose from a variety of preset gradients or create your own.
Customize Your Gradient (Optional):
If you want to create a custom gradient:
Click on the gradient bar in the Gradient Editor.
You’ll see color stops along the bar. Click on them to change their color or add new color stops.
You can also adjust the opacity of each color stop.
Apply the Gradient:
There are two main ways to apply a gradient:
Linear Gradient: Click and drag on the canvas in the direction you want the gradient to flow. The starting point of your drag will be the starting color of the gradient, and the endpoint will be the ending color.
Radial Gradient: Click on the canvas where you want the center of the gradient to be, then drag outwards to define the size and shape of the gradient.
Adjust Gradient Settings:
In the Gradient Editor or the tool options bar, you can further adjust settings like:

Tutorial N°6: Shape Tool
Shape Tool in Photopea
Select the Shape Tool:
In the toolbar on the left, find the Shape Tool icon. It usually looks like a rectangle or an ellipse.
Click and hold on the icon to reveal a dropdown menu with various shape options (Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, Line, Custom Shape).
Select the desired shape tool from the menu.
Draw the Shape on the Canvas:
Click and Drag: Click on the canvas where you want to start the shape, then drag your mouse to define its size and proportions.
Hold Shift: For regular shapes (perfect circles, squares), hold the Shift key while dragging to constrain the proportions.
Use Guides: Enable guides or grids (View menu > Show > Guides/Grid) for precise placement and alignment.
Adjust Shape Properties:
Fill and Stroke: In the top toolbar or the Properties panel, you’ll see options to:
Set the fill color or gradient for the inside of the shape.
Set the stroke color, width, and style for the outline of the shape.
Shape-Specific Options: Depending on the selected shape, you might have additional options:
For polygons, you can set the number of sides.

Combine Shapes: You can use the Path Operations (in the top toolbar or the Properties panel) to combine multiple shapes into one (Union, Subtract, Intersect, Exclude).
Use Custom Shapes: Photopea supports custom shapes in SVG format. You can open SVG files and use them as custom shapes.
Create Shape Selections: Right-click on a shape layer and choose «Select Pixels» to create a selection based on the shape.
